Why we say 28 days from online order to delivery

All our orders are quoted as taking 28 days from order date. We aim for shorter delivery times, but this is not always in our control especially at Christmas and coming up to the start of a new football season.

Short version of what happens

A. 5-7 days – goods arrive from central stores in Italy

B. 7-14 days – goods are placed in production

C. 2-7 days – goods are delivered

Totals A+B+C = 14 to 28 days until arrival at your address

This means lead time can be from 14 days to 28 days

Long version of the Order process

The day after we receive your order, your items are ordered from our Central stores in Italy.

Your items can take up to 7 days to reach us, as the central stores in Italy send them in bulk to us based on stock availability, picking and packing time, and courier collection and delivery times.

What we can track

As the orders are received in bulk, we don’t have the facility to track each individual Club Shop order. On arrival, orders are broken down by club for production purposes. Each garment must be embroidered with the club logo and/or printed with sponsors names and/or players initials. Embroidery and printing are two separate processes.

We can’t track a single order until all its individual items are finished and then packed together to form your order and sent to our delivery department. It is only then that we can send a notice to you that your order is ready to be dispatched.

We therefore allow up to 14 days for an item to get into our production run and then another 7 days for it to arrive at your address. 28 days is ususlly the most extreme case, with 21 days the average. This is all subject to availability of stock in Italy.

Why don’t you hold more stock

It is not affordable or practical for a club to preorder ready embroidered or ready printed items due to the many types, colours and sizes of garments they require.

To give a greater choice to clubs, we offer a huge range of designs, colours and sizes. To do this we don’t hold stock in Ireland but ship it from the Macron central warehouse in Bologna Italy. It can take up to 7 days for the items to reach us.

We offer the clubs the ability to have their crest on all items and allow them to have sponsors and numbers printed specially for their club. It also allows them to have special teamwear for trips and competitions unique to them.
